Washing Daddy ("we", "us", "our") operates the Washing Daddy customer app and the WD Washer washer app (together, the "Apps"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect

• Phone number — used to sign you in via SMS one-time password (OTP). We do not collect your name from the phone; you type it yourself.
• Name & area — the name and locality you enter during sign-up, so your washer or customer can identify you.
• Car details — make, model, registration number, and parking spot, so the washer knows which car to wash and where it is parked.
• Photos — car photos the washer takes to confirm a completed wash. Photos are stored as Base64 strings in our database; they are not shared with third parties.
• Wash records — date, status, time, and water used for each wash, so both parties can track service history.
• Device information — we do not collect device IDs, advertising IDs, or analytics data. The app does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDK.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you via Firebase Authentication (SMS OTP).
• To match customers with their assigned washer and show live wash status.
• To let the washer record completed work and attach proof-of-service photos.
• To calculate and display earnings for washers.
• To let customers rate washes and send service requests (notes, rewash, skip, pause).

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), hosted in Google's data centres. Access is controlled by Firestore Security Rules: each user can read and write only their own data. Admin access is limited to the business owner's phone number.

Photos are stored as encoded strings within Firestore documents, not in a public storage bucket.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication — sends an SMS to your phone number for verification. Google's Firebase privacy policy applies.
• Firebase Cloud Firestore — stores your account and wash data.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social-media SDKs.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. Your data is visible only to:

• You (your own account, cars, and wash history).
• Your assigned washer (the cars on their round and wash status).
• The business admin (for account approval and service management).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, contact us (see below) and we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The Apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the Apps after an update means you accept the new policy.
